I have read a lot of philosophy and religious studies books, eastern and western... and I'm a student of The Course... but this is THE best book I've ever read. It explains EVERYTHING about our universe, in a supremely positive loving way, in something like 80 pages. You would be remiss in missing this book. I can't believe I'd never heard of it till about two months ago. (Note that I'm a writer, so I've read just about everything.)
If you are spiritualy advanced this book will expand your consciousness dramatically
This book was a gift to a very special person I thought was ready for its message. More than two decades have elapsed since my first introduction to Ken Carey's work. In some manner of "guesswork" I have passed his books to others. Always my "guesswork" was right on. I pause, just now, in a glow of accomplishment. The pause and the glow deserve the moment of honor I have given it. The accomplishment I give Ken Cary for every right on my efforts revealed. Thank you my friend. You are a light unto my world.
I imagine that those who stumble upon this book or hear about from a friend, are those who are meant to read it. Coming to this book, no matter how, is not a coincidence. It certainly was not for me.It is my experience, first-hand, that heart-centered meditation, heart-centered being, living is key to connecting with the divine.
To be honest, the book is fairly written in a nice format. My only gripe was the way the author decided to use bible terminology ironically in the manner he tells the reader to disgrace. It isnt until the end of the book, chapter 7-12, where the ego in his writing shows itself and he goes on a long tangent about being a direct transmission of christ and god in itsliteral sense, trying to send a message to the readers. The reason this is an issue is because the writer shows no proper understanding of the terminology he is using and therefore assumes the definition and meaning inorder to add substance to a book with no proper methodology or practice.
Never has a single book so concisely compiled all the most critical information about who we are why we are here and what we should do. Sometimes I fold the corner of a page when I think that it contains a particular piece of important information. I found myself folding down nearly every page so I had to quit. I have read every self-help, spiritual, psychological, philosophical, metaphysical book ever written and I place this book in my top 3 best books of all time. It is written in a clear easy to understand way. It is theoretically from beings of a higher level and they are explaining to us on earth how we got here and where we are headed and what we should do to avoid our own pain and doom. It is a very optimistic book about how we can and will evolve into more advance beings. The spiritual/metaphysical aspects are wonderful but even the "scientific" aspects are cool. It is like being able to see the future and how we can make the most of that knowledge. It is filled with Universal Truths as well as cautions to those who fail to see the oneness of all things. I have read it more than once and it is always great. It has so much information packed into such a small book it is amazing. This is another book that should be mandatory reading for every human being. Do not skip this one as it can change your life.
I have read this book repeatedly and every time I can feel the love that the author intended to express and it leaves me feeling good about life.... but my copy was lost in a fire. This was an economical replacement. I'm thrilled to have it back in my tiny... but growing collection.
FOR SOME ONE INCLINED TO THIS TOPIC AND KIND OF PHILOSOPHY , AN EXCELLENT INTRODUCTORY BOOK THAT CAN LEAD ONE TO OTHER MORE COMPLEX BOOKS ON THE SAME SUBJECT . MAKES OTHER WORKS OF THIS NATURE MORE INTELIGIBLE AND UNDERSTANABLE . A BOOK ONE CAN GET IMMERSED IN AND WANT TO READ WITH OUT STOPPING .
