Had to buy the latest edition of the book, and it did not disappoint! Up-to-date with information about latest research and applications across the educational spectrum.

Fabulous book that spells out how to teach conceptually. This book is very engaging and an easy read. It has changed how I think about teaching and learning - as well as how I teach daily!

Lynn Erickson's book does not disappoint. In this third edition book, Erickson sets the stage for `why' educators should be interested in conceptual teaching. Importantly, Erickson, an educator herself, writes with authentic respect for teachers who seek to create thoughtful classrooms in schools across the country today (against the backdrop of the recent emphasis on test prep). This book is a good choice for both school administrators/policy makers and teachers. It was a nice read but some things were inaccurate. Kind of upsetting. So I read it for the entertainment of it because Hubbard didn't get a lot of her facts straight.

Charlotte Hubbard always writes the best stories. Her stories make you experience a range of different emotions and I never want the book to end.

Potentially interesting plot. Characters and action not believable. Lack of knowledge of Amish culture and Amish speech. I could not read it through - painfully poor descriptions of characters' thought processes and sequence of events.

If I could give this book a ten I would. I loved this book from cover to cover. I would love to see a second book come from this . Maybe someone's dad coming back into the amish faith. If you like Amish fiction you need this book. Or Gracie grown up. I hated this book ending. Grab this book,a comfortable chair and enjoy.

I simply could not put this book down, I laughed, I cried, I was totally captivated and lost in this storyline, I felt I was part of the characters

Thank you Charlotte for such a loving story. I think I cried through the whole story. Happy Cries, Sad Cries . I listen to the CD version and the reader you had was wonderful and just perfect for this story. This is really a must read story . I have read many Amish stories but none have touched me like this book. Thank you again Charlotte.

Wonderful story of love and redemption. We often let our pride get in the way of forgiveness. It is a humbling but rewarding experience when we let go our pride.

I loved this story! The characters were well developed and the storyline just absorbed me. I highly recommend this book!
