LOVE this book! This was a required textbook for my Costume Design class. I don't usually keep my old textbooks, but I couldn't give this one up. Even though I am advanced in costuming; therefore, I knew most of the information offered in the book, the book did have some really indepth chapters that helped me understand costume designing more.

This was the required textbook for my college's costume design class. Everyone says it is mandatory for anyone considering a career in this profession. The class I took was geared solely towards the stage costume designer and so is this book. Still it is very usefull to those who desire to work in film.

I was really looking forward to reading this book, especially since I had just read Bobbie Brown's "Dirty Rocker Boys" Book- which was basically about him. I wanted to get Tommy's point of view about their relationship. But she didn't get one mention from him. Nothing?! Only Pamela mentions "someone named Bobbie Brown." Really? He only was engaged to Bobbie, and had her name tattooed on his neck- which he didn't recommend doing. But as with her, he didn't really go into detail about his relationship with his ex Heather either. It's almost like Pamela had final edit approval (removal) over that.The beginning of the book was just the worst- his private anatomy "talks" and he describes his "skills." Ugh. Aside from that, it's an ok book- he goes from ridiculous to almost down-to-earth, and back again. He was surprisingly close to his parents, but you won't learn too much more about him from this book, oh, and he likes the word "craise."

This is not quite 5 stars for me, but it was well worth my time and the purchase price. I read it over a three day period and I got tons of enjoyment out of it. I'm really glad that I read this book to get Tommy's personal take on several different things that happened to him, especially being married to Heather Locklear and Pamela Anderson. I was also interested in Tommy's account of going to jail, about a young boy that sadly died in his pool, and the passing of his father, being raised by his parents etc. Of course, many other great topics and stories are covered. I think a better rating would be about 4.6 stars, because that represents a percentage of the book that I totally enjoyed. The .4 remaining I sometimes felt was rather dumb, but it's not a big deal. I got many good giggles from the entertaining way Tommy expresses himself. I am familiar with Anthony Bozza and he does an excellent job finding the voice of the person he's writing for. I really felt that the writing style was completely Tommy talking. I can't guarantee someone else will like this, but it was good for me. It's not exactly the self-improvement type of book that I like to read, but I felt that in my own context of life, I identified with Tommy in a certain way. I've been epically misunderstood, and I think Tommy is misunderstood. The man personifies the idea of a rock star. He's wickedly talented. Post Motley Crue, it's probably true to say that he's the most talented of the four in that bunch. A true artist. Seemingly a lovable guy. That is all. :)

Entertaining, insightful and fun. Glad he didn't do the play by play of motley crue. It's been done to death. The book was about HIM. A lot of reviews complain about the notes from his famous appendage. I found them to be totally tongue in cheek, fitting of his personality. Most of these books are ego trips about all the groupies, this book went in depth about his marriages, kids and the hell he went through in jail. Good, fast read.

I am huge fan of Motley Crue and of Tommy Lee as a drummer. Was disappointed in this. If you know him then you already know that a certain part of his anatomy has been a major part of his life and don't need him talking from his ****'s point of view. Would rather he just talk honestly about his relationships.

To me this seemed like "Let's write a short book and make some fast money." If you're going to write a book, write a book, not just a few chapters of chosen parts of your life. Most guys don't have conversations with our dick, and having it chime in throughout the book made it even worse. His short "responses"to his editor in England only made him sound like a pompous ass. Aside from that, it was great...

First of all that is a straight five-star read. Why? Because those are just one person's thoughts on the life he's lived, and other stuff. Makes sense to either agree or disagree. It's all in the disclaimer, so just give it a quick look before either committing to the story, or walking away.I do have a habit of judging books by either the aftertaste they leave, or the amount of fun I had while reading them. This is by far one of the most fun reads, and I it's amazing, because there are no underdeveloped characters, most of the events are surreal, and overall it was a read worth spending 2 days on (and some bucks).So, if you decide to read it, get used to the fact that sometimes you would think "there it is, you said it, so true", and sometimes you would shake your head no, but you might learn something.It's also partly a more simple, not overdramatic look at the same events from the Dirt, and Heroin Diaries. Anyway, apparently it's time to move on to next autobiography).

I enjoyed this book. It was definitely written in Tommy's voice which made it feel genuine. He's lived a crazy life and was upfront about it and didn't try to make himself look better or like a victim. This book was funny, honest, and made him a lot more relatable in my opinion. If you enjoyed The Dirt you'll probably enjoy this: give it a read.

I love Motley Crue, but this book did not keep my interest. I finished it in hope's it would get better, but it didn't. I've seen Motley Crue several times , and like the book , it seems good at first, like their first show, but like their last show, it only got more boring. But the bad concerts was Vince Neil's for forgetting the words.. Tommy does great live... he should stick to music, not writing.

Hello everyone today I am reviewing the 6th and final book in the billionaire romance series what a girl decides. Im also including back round information on books 1-5.So far in the series we have Sara and Robert two collage kids falling in love. I hope you read book one, book two, book three and book four already. It is definitely a must to understand what is going on here in book 5. First lets get cought up. This series is written in two points of views one being Sara and the other being Robert. It switches every other chapter and they are short. Took me 20 min to read each one. In book one Sara is at school against her dads wishes. She meets Robert in class. Robert is typical rich kid partying all night and doesn't care about school. In book one they are paired together for school project. Sara is not happy to be paired with guy who missed 6 weeks of classes. In book one while working together they get feelings for each other which is admitted at the end. Robert gets call that his dad is very ill then book ends. In book 2 we introduce James Robert's friend who has small crush on Sara. In book 2 starts with Sara not seeing Rob for few weeks but she's been spending a lot of time with James. She has no idea that James likes her. Rob invites Sara to go meet his dad who is dying. Robs dad makes him do this. Sara invites James to come along as she is nervous. When Sara meets Rob's dad he tells her firmly that he does not want Sara with his son. Sara is upsets and leaves back to school with James. Back at her dorm James tells Sara that he likes her and ask her out. Rob shows up and apologize to Sara but Sara is confused said she needs time. Book three what a girl knows starts off with Sara trying to decide who to choose. In this part of thier journey sara is unsure of what to do. She finally decides to call james after a week of ignoring both james and rob. This call ends with a date that she is unsure of. Mean while rob goes over to james dorm to talk with him and over hears the phone call. On sara and James date Robert shows up and it goes bad. Sara and Robert realize again they want each other. They end up together again and Robert takes sara to his private island. They just arrived and Robert gets a phone call from his sister. His dad has died but not before telling the girls how he felt for sara. So rob asks sara to join him in going to funeral.In book four what a girl loves sara is heading with Robert to the funeral where she will meet Roberts 3 sisters. They do not like her. Rob speaks with lawyer abought the will. He will get full control of the money but he has to get married within a year and engaged with in two months. Sara does not know this. Near the end rob decides to propose.In book 5 what a girl feels we pick off waiting for saras answer. She accepted. Now they go off to meet saras father who we know nithing abought. It doesn't go well. In book 5 sara over hears details abought the will. now she thinks Robert proposed to gain control of the money.Finnaly book 6. After all the ups and downs sara and Rob has had over the last few books it was leading to this moment. They almost break up. Rob signs over the money to his sister lucy to prove money is not what he wants. He wants her. He kept enough money so she can finish school and they can start there life together. This series has me hooked but it should of been one big chapter book instead of several short stories.I did enjoy the series but hate 6 short stories. It is written well. This is the sixth, and final installment of this series. It is another short read that does not take long. The author does a good job of pulling you in and keeping you involved with the characters. There are some parts where the story drags but not enough to deter me from continuing reading the story. There are also parts that fly by like a roller coaster ride. As with any finale, everything comes together in this installment of the story. I’ve enjoyed reading all six books in this series, even though I think they could have put them all in one book. I was a little sad to see the end of this story because I really enjoyed the characters.Recommend this to a friend? So far this has been a fine read. I would recommend this for either right- before- bed, or on the beach, a quiet afternoon, etc. There are quite a few dynamic features to the story line. A few twists and tunes, and the characters are pretty well developed. There are a few parts that could be edited slightly better, but I do know most authors on here prefer for their readers to help them out in this aspect.It was not hard reading by any means, but it was also not an elementary level book. Be prepared for some love scenes. But honestly, sometimes they do add to the storyline, right? Of course they do!I hope to either purchase more in this series or get the author motivated to write more! Not that this was left with just a cliffhanger or anything, I have just loved how the storyline was developed, and would love to know where this could head into the future. Knowing how the characters have developed, interacted, and have grown leaves me with a lot of hope for more. I always love series/ books where there is a spin- off into a similar setting, but with acquaintances that the characters had, or will have.Overall, this is a great value and I would highly recommend it. It is a great value for the price, and it simply cannot be beat! I will be purchasing more from this author in the future, and look forward to new releases.

Took me a little long than I anticipated to write this review but as a single mom of two it took me longer to read this book than I anticipated. Lol! I will say that I am absolutely addicted to this series! I don't want to ruin any of the plot to this book so I will keep my review pretty generic because as an avid reader myself I HATE spoilers, but I will say that this is a very well written series with perfect plot progression, it's a easy read that flows well and the characters are very well established. It's for sure my favorite romantic novel series. Very "50 shades" like which for me is amazing! The writing is done so well that your mind "sees" the story as you read it! I recieved the entire series free on my kindle in exchange for my honest review, which for kindle download it's free anyhow, but just for the sake of complete honesty I wanted to disclose that.
